Published in collaboration with the Center for International and Regional Studies at Georgetown University Qatar, the Persian Gulf Studies series comprises carefully selected and thoroughly vetted edited volumes (and occasional single-authored monographs) that explore a wide range of research topics on the Persian Gulf region, including (but not limited to): Rethinking the state in the Middle East; Pluralism and community in the Gulf States; The geopolitics of natural resources; Family in the Gulf; Art and cultural production; Migration

Although privileging the Persian Gulf region, volumes in the series will contextualize the region within the broader Middle East/MENA and look at the Gulf’s relationship with other regions.
